Azalea Men’s Forum in Standerton responds to needs of the community
The forum thanked an old resident, Judge Jakes Francis, who now lives in Johannesburg, for ploughing back into the community.
A registered non-profit organisation in Azalea, Azalea Men’s Forum, believes education is key.
This NPO was established in 2020 after seeing the different needs in their community.
They responded to the cry of learners and parents from Azalea Combined School, who are in dire need of school uniforms, shoes, socks, jerseys, jackets and blazers.
The forum thanked an old resident, Judge Jakes Francis, who now lives in Johannesburg, for ploughing back into the community.
Francis donated school shoes to the less fortunate children at Azalea Combined School.
The forum also thanked Past Samuel Hermaans for donating some shoes and all the other organisations, who play a vital role in serving their communities.
Zetta Van Wyk, and all the teachers who assisted with the handing out of the shoes, were thanked as well.
