Hestony Drivers Association gives back to the community of Lekwa
The drivers, formerly contracted at Meadow Feeds, felt they are community members, fathers and husbands, and should give back, no matter how small.
The Hestony Drivers Association from Lekwa gathered at Retsebile Primary School on Friday, June 24 to donate 10 school uniform packs to the disadvantaged.
The drivers, formerly contracted at Meadow Feeds, felt they are community members, fathers and husbands, and should give back, no matter how small.
They encouraged others in the community to follow suit.
“It will make a difference to someone’s life,” they said.
It was organised in partnership with Lekwa Employment Association.
According to them, they have been a great help in assisting with some of their challenges at the work place.
Hestony Drivers Association representatives are Thokozane Nkabinde and Thabo Shongwe and Mduduzi Dlamini is the executive secretary of the Lekwa Employment Association.
