A group of friends and golf players who organised the Money Gamers’ Charity Golf Tournament, handed out school uniforms and shoes to three schools in the area on Wednesday, July 20.
Daniel Nyathela came up with the idea to organise this annual tournament, because he wants to give back to the community, especially to learners battling poverty.
The Charity Golf Tournament took place at Graceland Hotel, Casino and Country Club on June 4 and the group raised enough money to buy school uniforms for needy children in the area.
Nyathela and his fellow golf players visited Thorisong Primary School in eMbalenhle, the Muzimuhle Primary School on the road between eMbalenhle and Secunda and Trichardtsfontein Primary School in Secunda on Wednesday, July 20.
