Bethal Police seek family of deceased man

Role players were summoned to the scene and ER24 certified the man dead.

Bethal police are investigating a case of culpable homicide after an unknown man was struck by a car on the N17 between Bethal and Trichardt in June.

The body of the unidentified man is still at the government mortuary at the Bethal Police Station.

The man is estimated to be between the age of 25 and 35 years. He was wearing a black and grey jacket with black trousers and brown sneakers at the time of his death.

Role players were summoned to the scene and ER24 certified the man dead.

The forensic pathologist, Sphiwe Maseko, took the body to the Bethal State Mortuary.

Police asked anyone who might know the man or his family, to urgently contact Detective Warrant Officer Abram Nkonde on 076 348 1670.
