Secunda Mall and fitness centre raise money for charity

Highveld SAVF in Secunda gets R10 000.

SECUNDA – Secunda Mall and Grip & Rip CrossFit Centre recently hosted an Assault-Bike-A-Thon at the mall to raise money for charities and welfare organisations.

The management team of Secunda Mall and Grip & Rip CrossFit Centre handed over a cheque of R10 000 to the Highveld SAVF branch in Secunda.

For every calorie cyclists burnt at the event, 50c was raised for the SAVF.

Altogether 32 people from the community and members of the CrossFit Centre took part in the event.

The money will also benefit the SAVF’s Child and Youth Care Centre.
