61 Runners take part in parkrun in Standerton
Two athletes improved their times and 11 new faces were registered at the Standerton River Park.
A total of 61 participants waited on Saturday, September 24 at 08:00 for the countdown at the parkrun.
Two athletes improved their times and 11 new faces were registered at the Standerton River Park.
Tshiamo Lephoto completed the 5km in a time of 16:29, followed by Siyabonga Kamhelo in 18:36.
Theo Schönfeld crossed the finish line in 27:23, while Wassie Rossouw ended at 28:44.
Parth Jayram reached the milestone of 50 parkruns and completed the distance in 29:24, while Thikolelwi Mudau also participated in his 50th parkrun and ended in 30:11.
Charl van Wyk, Jennifer Naidoo, Johannes Vosloo, Leticia Fourie, Lizette Jansen van Rensburg, Preyanka Dorasamy, Renette de Sousa, Ruwan Vermaak, Sylvy Moodley, Vihanda Steyl, Vusi Mavuso and Wikus Fourie facilitated the event’s safety.
