BETHAL – Mongezi Mkhwanazi (33) appeared in the Bethal Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, October 4 in connection with the murder of his grandmother.
The 71-year-old woman was stabbed to death in Cow Village, eMzinoni, on the night of September 6.
The suspect ran into hiding.
The police circulated information that Mkwanazi was wanted for the murder until he was arrested on Saturday, October 1.
His case was postponed to Tuesday, October 11, for a formal bail application.
