Standerton’s Elri and Celine dance their way to the top
They will compete in the Dance Star World Finals in Croatia in May next year.
Two dancers from Studio X Dance Standerton have qualified at the Dance Star South African Qualifier 2022 in Centurion, Pretoria.
Elri Fourie (13) and Celine Preuyt (11) each danced a Contemporary and Urban Hip Hop-solo. According to the information, it impressed international judges.
Their results were sufficient as to be given the chance to be part of the SA Dance Team that will compete in the Dance Star World Finals in Croatia in May next year.
“We are grateful to have had the opportunity to share the stage with the country’s best,” the dancers said.
“We’ve learnt a lot and are excited to continue sweating it out in the studio to compete overseas.”
