Kinross Hindu Society will host Diwali celebrations this weekend

This year’s Diwali celebration will be a grand one by the KHS as this function was not celebrated in the last two years at the temple due to Covid-19.

The executive committee of the Kinross Hindu Society will be hosting Diwali on October 22, at the Kinross Temple.

Chairman Leslie Naidoo, together with the rest of the executive committee extends a warm welcome to one of the biggest celebrations of the year.

This year’s Diwali celebration will be a grand one by the KHS as this function was not celebrated in the last two years at the temple due to Covid-19.

The temple will be opening its doors to the community by hosting one of the biggest Hindu festivals that celebrate the triumph of good over bad.

Celebrations start at 15.00. All are welcome to join this auspicious celebration.

There will be songs, dance, and beautiful music rendered by local talents as well as scripture reading, and a delicious feast planned for the devotees.
