Exercise and fun for 82 participants at the Standerton River Parkrun

Representatives of three diffrent clubs were presnet and the cross-country team of Laerskool Kalie de Haas added to the number of volunteers.

An air of festivity distinguished the parkrun on Saturday, October 15 where 82 participants took on the 5km.

Seven participants improved their times and 10 joined the activities at the Standerton River Park for the first time.

Katleho Samuel crossed the finish line in a time of 16:52, followed by Tshiamo Lephoto in 17:53. Sifiso Siphamnadla completed the distance in 17:57, while Chuhla Phago came in at 19:13.

Johan Ferreira’s time was 24:48 and those of Zakariyya Chothia 25:52. Sizo Majola registered a new personal best of 26:01.
