Beauties compete in Ms and Mr Tshwane Regions pageant in Cullinan

Winners of the 2022 Mister and Miss Tshwane beauty pageant

The fourth annual Mr & Miss Tshwane Regions beauty pageant was held at the Zonderwater Recreational Hall in Cullinan on October 8.

The pageant was established in Bronkhorstspruit in 2019 by Asan Mahlangu and was first called Mr & Miss Tshwane Region 7.

Later on, as the pageant grew in popularity and people from outside of the region started participating, Asan changed the name to Mr & Miss Tshwane Regions in order to accommodate everyone in and around Pretoria.

“What motivated me to start this pageant, was the love I have for pageantry and giving back to my community. I want to empower our youth to be agents of change in our communities, to lead and be the voices of tomorrow,” he said.
