Several team up to keep girls in schools on the Cullinan and Rayton area
Campaign distributes sanitary towels to schools in the area.
Tshwane Netball, together with Spar, sponsored 200 packs of sanitary towels for schools in Region 5 (Cullinan, Rayton and Roodeplaat) and Region 7 ( Bronkhorstspruit, Ekangala, Ekandustria).
Dimakatso from Region 5 Netball, and Gontse Ritchli, a finalist for Miss Tshwane 2023 went with JB Bekker, Cullinan DA councillor of Ward 100 to give sanitary towels to the principal of Leeuwfontein Primary School in Roodeplaat, Dr Johan Louw, as part of the Keep a girl in school-campaign.
They thanked Spar who donated pack for pack to match all donations, as well as everyone who donated a pack of sanitary towels to help restore confidence and dignity within in a young girl.
