Festive season looms with burglars in Standerton on the prowl

Kasselman Security Services (KSS) reported the past week on a burglary in Paarl Street, Standerton. A laptop and flatscreen television are missing.

A burglary also took place in Caledon Street. According to KSS, one suspect was arrested.

The suspect is on parole and was sentenced to 10 years for burglary and theft.

A robbery occurred in Stanwest as well. According to KSS, three suspects entered a house in Verschuur Street. The alarm was triggered and reaction officers responded.

A white Toyota Hilux and electronic goods were stolen. Sergeant Nhlapo from Morgenzon Police reported a shooting incident at a farm.

A driver of a vehicle allegedly shot another person in the legs. The suspect fled in a black Isuzu Double Cab, with no direction supplied.
