Seniors citizens visit Braveheart Bio-Dog Academy in Elandshoek
They were shown how sniffer dogs are trained.
Senior citizens from JAFFA, a retirement home for the Jewish community of Pretoria enjoyed their time at the Braveheart Bio-Dog Academy, located in Elandshoek, Rayton on November 29.
They were treated to a demo of how a sniffer dog operates. The elderly also had a chance to interact with these animals.
Residents brought their own picnic baskets which they enjoyed under the lush trees.
“What a great day we had with our senior citizens from JAFFA senior home. We are privileged to spend time with our senior members and to make them feel at home by showing how dogs can work and allowing them to be part of the social development of the dogs,” said Mariana de Bruin from Braveheart Bio-Dog Academy.
