Truck loses its trailer in Standerton’s main street

A trailer of a large truck came loose in Beyers Naude Street during the lunch hour on August 23, bumping into two vehicles and a minibus.

Traffic was congested for a while near the intersection with Princess Street in front of Gert Sibande College’s main building.

The traffic department, SAPS and All Star Towing Services were on the scene.

One sedan parked on the main street had to be lifted from the trailer.
