Child airlifted from Mediclinic Highveld Hospital in Trichardt after vehicles collide head-on on R545

Emergency services responded to a scene of a head-on collision of two vehicles in the Kriel area today, September 24, at around 16:30.

According to information received nine people, of which two are children, sustained various injuries ranging from moderate to serious.

The nine patients were treated and transported to Evander, Witbank and Mediclinic Highveld Hospital by ER24.

Netcare 911 airlifted a child from Mediclinic Highveld earlier this evening.

Eskom Emergency Fire fighting services and JP Auto Towing and Recovery were on scene.
