The 2024 military day in Delmas attracts young and old
For entertainment, which cherished the military and antique mood of the day, the Benoni High School pipe band played their bagpipes in true fashion.
The well-known military show was once again hosted by Celso dos Santos, the owner of Pick and Pay in Delmas and the Military Collectors and Re-enactors Society.
The show took place on June 30 in the parking area of the Willowbrooke Square Shopping Centre.
Visitors flocked from all over to view the antique military equipment on exhibition. This family day had several stalls, including the local Penduka Furniture, a pancake stand hosted by members of The Wild Bunch, Revolution Chapter, handmade jewellery, arts and crafts and many more.
Classic cars from all over took to the stand, again attracting young and old.
For entertainment, which cherished the military and antique mood of the day, the Benoni High School pipe band played their bagpipes in true fashion.
Dos Santos thanked everyone who travelled from wide and far to participate in the military and classic car exhibition.
“Thank you also to all who set up stalls on the day.”
He expressed his gratitude towards his personnel, who all worked hard to make the military show a memorable one.
