SHS out of Noordvaal Championship

The U14 and U15 SHS rugby teams took part in the Noordvaal semi-finals on August 3.

Standerton High School (SHS) hosted the Noordvaal semi-finals on their home field on August 3, where their U14 and U15 teams participated.

The U14 team took on Riebeeckrand High School and lost the match with a score of 10-37.

Though they did not advance in this championship, Heinu Gouws and Bradley Blom, the coaches for this team expressed great pride in the rugby boys.

The U15 team runs onto the field.

“They achieved their two-year goal in a single year,” said Gouw.

These coaches are excited for the future awaiting this team.

“These boys have a lot of potential. The U15 team took on Fochville High School in an extremely hard match,” said Blom. Fochville won 10-0.
