The Guardian Motorcycle Club was established in 2021 as an NPO and has had affiliation with the African Bikers Council since 2023.

The club has more than 40 members and a strict golden rule: it only accepts people who have motorcycles as members.

Their objectives are to promote charity events and road safety and to encourage the spirit of brotherhood and sisterhood.

According to Nicholas Mashiane, the founder, their Bikers Life Matters initiative promotes awareness to all road users to be vigilant and cautious at all times.
