Cable thieves strike again in Standerton

Three separate instances of cable theft were reported last week, resulting in inconvenient power outages.

Kasselman Security Services discovered two separate cases of cable theft on November 12.

Reportedly, the cables were cut at the intersection of Caledon and Swichardt streets and the showgrounds.

Another cable was stolen at the intersection of Burger and Caledon streets on November 13.

Though there were no arrests, copper casings were found near the sites where cables were stolen.
