Emergency services responded to a single motor vehicle accident involving two young boys near the Secunda dumping site on the old mine road near Secunda Crushers before 23:00 yesterday (November 25).

According to the information received, the passenger died on the scene.

The driver sustained serious injuries and was transported to a hospital by ER24 ambulance service.

Forensics was on the scene and the cause of the accident is under investigation.
