Lekwa Baby Rescue needs your help
Donations will not only provide the children with joy, but will ensure they create cherished memories that last a lifetime.
Lekwa Baby Rescue (LBR) is reaching out to the kind-hearted community of Standerton yet again to assist them in their goals of saving underprivileged babies and children in the community.
Since the NPO’s conception, LBR has made a visible, positive difference in the lives of over 191 children. However, the community’s support is vital to their mission.
“With abandonment rates typically increasing during this time, we need your help to ensure that we are fully prepared,” said Cani Venter of LBR.
LBR is desperate to provide these children with a Christmas to remember.
“We want the children to enjoy a joyful Christmas season, especially since the homes they come from never provided them with the joy of celebrating Christmas,” said Venter.
These children seldom have access to treats such as chips, ice-cream and cookies. LBR would love to offer them these treats as a way of providing them with extra comfort after the traumatic year these children have endured.
“We kindly ask for your support in offering these children these items and we thank you for your willingness to help the children we care for. With your generous contributions, we can ensure that each child feels warmth and joy this holiday season,” added Venter.

Lekwa Baby Rescue is a non-profit organisation run out of the home of Cani and Louis Venter.
Though the community is of great help to them, they do not receive any financial compensation for the wonderful work they are doing.
Currently they have multiple children in their care for whom they ensure a safe home environment, meals, education and clothing.
