Forum volunteers clean up Kinross streets again
Get involved and sponsor a voluntary worker.
Members of the Kinross Community Forum tackled the main street of the town again in December last year and cleaned up the area.
Andries Noorman, who launched this cleaning-up community project, thanked all the sponsors who supported them last year.
He specifically thanked the companies and individuals who supplied a TLB to do the work, lunch daily for the workers, fuel for the machinery to mow the lawn and personal protective equipment (PPE) for the workers.
Noorman said they want to make Kinross the cleanest town in the area and he urged business owners and individuals to get involved in this project and support them.
One of the goals of their project is to get men who are on the streets and unemployed to get clean and get rewarded for it.
“Even if the community can reward them in the form of food, it would be great,” said Noorman.
All the people involved in this project are volunteers. The idea is to give the unemployed men purpose in life again.
