Delmas’ Red Star hosts off-road parkrun

Red Star, situated on the N12 just outside Delmas, hosted a scenic off-road trail and will host a full track parkrun on February 22. Runners ran the trail course on February 8, with the race starting at 08:00.

“We loved seeing all the smiles, energy and community spirit on the trial,” said Jacky Grassman, the event co-ordinator.

“I thank all our dedicated volunteers who worked hard the day before the race to prepare a beautiful trail for the next day’s parkrun.”

Grassman also thanked all the participants, “It was a refreshing run in the great outdoors and, with the Cosmos in full bloom, it was even more special.”
