Emergency services respond to two separate accidents on the N17 and in Secunda

No other injuries were reported.

It was a busy morning for emergency services responding to multiple vehicle accidents today, February 25.

The first reported accident happened at about 06:20 on the N17 at the Syferfontein and Vlaklaagte turnoff, involving two vehicles and a truck.

Midfire Safety EMS treated one of the motorists for shock and transported her to Evander Hospital. No other injuries were reported.

In a separate accident, emergency personnel responded to a three-vehicle collision at the intersection of Oliver Tambo Drive and Drakensburg Street, by the Secunda Duck Pond at around 07:20.

A motorist was treated for shock on the scene by ER24.

No other injuries were reported.
