Vilaca Racing Time Attack Series 2025 action in Delmas

The highly anticipated Vilaca Racing Time Attack Championship returns for 2025.

Vilaca takes place across some of the country’s most iconic race circuits, the Zwartkops Raceway, and the Formula-K SA Circuit, including the Red Star Raceway, situated on the N12 just outside Delmas.

It is a must see high-speed thrill, with adrenaline-pumping action, and a celebration of motorsport culture.

With six rounds scheduled throughout the year, the 2025 series is the perfect opportunity to witness incredible cars and talented drivers competing for the top spot.

According to Jono Vilaca, the founder of Vilaca Racing, it is an event not to be missed by car enthusiasts, motorsport fans or even just for an exciting family day out.

“This year marks our sixth season of Vilaca Racing, and we’re thrilled to bring even more speed, excitement, and energy to the track,” said Vilaca.

The series focuses on the ultimate race against the clock, with competitors pushing their cars to the limit in a bid for the fastest lap time.

The format, while competitive, allows car enthusiasts to enjoy all the excitement of motorsport in a safe, controlled environment.

“The Time Attack Championship isn’t just about racing; it’s about creating an experience – one that brings together motorsport fans, families, and car enthusiasts of all ages to enjoy a fun and thrilling day out.”

“Vilaca Racing is not just a race; it’s a community, a lifestyle, and a celebration of everything we love about cars and motorsport,” Vilaca added.

The first event will take place on March 8 at the Red Star Raceway.

Tickets are R100 which you can purchase at the gate and children under 12 are free.
