Love is in the air at Dra Mekaar in Secunda
The next Dra Mekaar meeting is on March 5.
The Dra Mekaar members met for breakfast at the Bossa Restaurant to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Minister Diederich Kleynhans opened the morning with scripture reading and prayer.
With it being the month of love, Andre Jonker serenaded the members with golden oldies like Don Williams’ You’re My Best Friend, Elvis Presley’s Falling in Love with You and more.
Dra Mekaar’s longest-married couple, Ver and Non Erlank, have been married for 69 years.
And yes, there is still hope for love for the single out there because members Mike and Leana du Toit are still in their newlywed phase of one year.
