Currently, 30 participants are undergoing training at the Gert Sibande TVET Skills College.

Members of the Community Work Programme can be seen all over Standerton, tackling small but necessary jobs in several areas.
For the past week, CWP members cleaned up the streets in Meyerville. They could also be seen fixing potholes and picking up trash.
Currently, 30 participants are undergoing training at the Gert Sibande TVET Skills College.
These participants took part in the welding programme which will not only empower them to start their businesses but will enhance their employability.
Executive Mayor Sifiso Mngemezulu paid a visit to the college on March 3 to assess the progress of the participants in this programme.
“The skills development programme is about empowering individuals and providing them with the tools they need to build a brighter future for themselves and contribute to the growth of our economy,” said Mngemezulu.
