Nesher Primary School in Eloff enjoys family fun
When the son came through the clouds Nesher learners and visitors enjoyed the many activities like ‘boeresport’, the jumping castle and watersports.

Nesher Private School in Eloff held its first family run with a rainbow theme fun day for the year on March 15.
The morning kicked off at 08:00 with a cold breeze in the air, but that did not prevent the runners, walkers and cyclers from taking to the road for the 4.9km fun route.
Zane van Onselen finished first with his brother Neil short on his heels. Leandrie Beeslaar won the bicycle race.
While waiting for the race to finish, families and visitors were treated by the singing couple, Gert and Motz.
The smell of ‘braai boerewors’ hung in the air and pizza, coffee, hot chocolate and Milo was on the menu.
The young ones could eat their hearts out as there were stalls with something to choose from for every sweet tooth.
Other stalls included handmade items such as jewellery, wind charms, bottled products and many more.
When the sun eventually broke through the clouds Nesher learners and visitors enjoyed the many activities like ‘boeresport’, the jumping castle and water fun.
The headmaster, Lizette van Onselen thanked the personnel, the visitors, supporters as well as entertainers, Gert and Motz, for making Neshers’ fun day a successful event.
“Thank you also to all our sponsors, without you, this day would not have been possible,” Van Onselen added.
