64 parkrunners finish in Bronkhorstspruit

The Bronkhorstspruit Parkrun took place on March 22 with the starting point the Ubuhle Christian School.
Not only did they welcome 14 new members on the day, but also had the honor to congratulate Wilhelmina Geyser on her 50th run.
To add fun and colour to the morning’s event, some runners came dressed for 22 Tutu-day. Young and old and even some doggies joined for the days run.
A total of 64 participants completed the 5km route with eight improving their personal best times.
Ryan de Steur was the first finisher. He clocked in at 22:16, followed by Dewald Bekker (22:41), Jacques van der Westhuizen (22:52), Jamy Kenneth du Plessis (24:33), Pierré van der Westhuizen (25:42), Anne-Marie Coetzee with a personal best time of 27:29, Adriana Lorusso (29:34), Brian Duthie (30:02), Jan Hendrik Coetzee (30:33) and Penny Bowren (31:54).
The volunteers who made this event possible, Erhard Krüger Drienie Opperman, Cornel Kotze, Anje Maree, Estelle Pawson, Eugene Pawson, Jaco Pretorius, Andre de Lange, Filia Rockas and Despina Rockas.
