The school gave back to the community as part of its 10th anniversary.

As part of Curro Secunda’s 10th anniversary, the Curro community raised money for a worthy cause and handed R8 200 to Tutela Secunda.

Tutela is an NPO that prioritises early detection and intervention services, focusing on families and children at risk of harm or vulnerability.

The executive head of Curro Secunda, Ruan van der Merwe, went with the leaders of Curro, Nyiko Matshinye, Nokukhanya Mahlaela, Ethan Kapito and Kourtney Klink to Tutela and handed the money to Tutela’s social workers and board members, Cemondré Prinsloo, Shamillah Wilkenson, Jan Badenhorst and Johan Watkins.
