Public speakers at Laerskool Delmas excels

Dellies held their public speaking competition in the senior phase on April 23. Arina Doyle and Chenel Immelman were on the podium as adjudicators, with Aneshka van der Walt and Christiaan Taute as the chairpersons.

The winners were:

• Grade Five – Mia Scheepers, Lesego Makapo and Mbali Nyathi.
• Grade Six – Mia Krouwkamp, Rialise Vosloo and Lohan Joubert.
• Grade Seven – Michael van der Laan, Tiana Redelinghuys and Mariné Kearney.
• The juniors phase competition was on April 24 with adjudicators Arina Doyle and Annete Jones and chairpersons Mariné Kearney and Michael van der Laan.

The grade winners were:

• Grade Four – Jané van Zyl, Richard Kearney and Mari-Lee Naudé.
• Grade Three – Jayden Labuschagne, Toby Keevy and Riaan Kriel.
• Grade Two – Streicher de Beer, Jonbanét Grobler and Laurentia Labuschagne.
• Grade One – Leamé Swart, Grethe Olckers and Grace Joubert.
