Kungwini Netball Association women’s league kicks off
“We witnessed impressive play and I am happy and satisfied with all the teams that are participating in the 2025 league.”
The Kungwini Netball Association held its women’s league tournament at the Bronkhorstspruit Sports Centre on June 7.
Teams that participated in the first round included the Bronkies Netball Club from Bronkhorstspruit, the Tswelopele Netball Club from Ekangala, the Proper Netstars Netball Club from Ekangala, the Mighty Sportive Netball Club from Dark City, and the Tswelopele Netball Club from Rethabiseng.
David Mahlangu, the netball coordinator for Tshwane Region 7, said the teams’ performances improved compared to the 2024 league.
“We witnessed impressive play, and I am satisfied with all the teams participating in the 2025 league,” Mahlangu added.
The second round of the women’s league will take place on June 28 at Ekangala.
