Borehole brings water relief to Zithobeni school
Kgoro Primary learners can now focus on their studies without water worries, thanks to RSP Processing’s donation of a fully installed borehole - part of their ongoing commitment to community upliftment.
In the midst of a continuing water supply shortage in the Bronkhorstspruit area, learners from Kgoro Primary School no longer have to stress about the lack of running water.
RSP Processing, based in Bronkhorstspruit, drilled borehole water with a complete installation and officially handed over the project to this school in Zithobeni last week.
Tshepo Masimini said this project was part of RSP Processing’s corporate social responsiveness.
“Water supply is a big issue in our community and when the municipal water supply is off, schools are unfortunately forced to send learners home until the water returns,” said Nicola Vermaak- General Manager for RSP Processing.
According to Masimini, they run corporate social initiatives within their community throughout the year, focusing on the disabled, education and skills development, food security, disaster relief and health and wellness.
