Judokas from Standerton excel at national competition

Several Judokas from the Standerton Judo Club participated in the SA Judo Championships.

Several judokas from the Standerton Judo Club excelled at the South African Judo Championships held at Tuks from June 30 to July 4.

Zaiden Viljoen, Jacey Moll, and Vivike de Beer brought home silver medals in the advanced schools division.

In the pre-cadet division, Xaré Steyl and Leann Moll faced tough opponents and finished in fourth place.

Tristan da Cunha finished fourth in the cadet category, and Morné Benade placed fifth in the same category.

Sjarné Steyl also competed in this highly competitive bracket and finished in eighth place.

Banele Dlamini and Johnathan van Eeden competed in the junior judokas category where they ended fourth and eighth, respectively.
