Personal best times tumble at parkrun in Standerton

Eight parkrunners improved their personal best times at this 311th event.

Teenager Jyoti Daya finished her 100th parkrun at the Standerton Riverpark on Saturday, completing the 5km route in 31:41.

Eight parkrunners improved their personal best times at this 311th event. They are Tshidiso Oupanyana (19:59), also the first to cross the finish line, Juandre du Plessis (31:28), Andile Appreciate Sauhatsi (36:24), Nomkhosi Ramonotsi (38:38), Princess Dlongolo (39:16), Eunice Modipa (42:17), Charmain Kleynhans (44:01), Zahra Khan (52:39) and Linda Dhlamini (53:31).

Following Oupanyana were Pieter Jansen van Vuuren (21:19), Andiswamahlubi Hadebe (24:54), Parth Jayram (25:04), Eugene Viljoen (26:41), Ayanda Dlamini (29:33), Theo Schönfeldt (30:11), Puseletso Dladla (31:09) and Du Plessis (31:28).

The volunteers who made this event possible are: Renette de Sousa, Nadine Hoop, Lizette Jansen van Rensburg, Séan Jansen van Rensburg, Sylvy Moodley, Jennifer Naidoo, Strini Naidoo, Nienke Swart, Marjorie Uys, Frans Vermaak, Johannes Vosloo and Daniel Wright.
