One adult and an infant died in an accident on the R50 road in the early morning hours on August 31.

Three passengers, including the driver of the vehicle, were airlifted and transferred to hospitals in Gauteng because they were in a critical condition.

It is alleged that their car overturned and all the emergency services were at the scene. The cause of accident is unknown. All the patients who were airlifted are now in a stable condition.
