Cyclists ride through Standerton

Over 100 cyclists joined the 500km cycling challenge.

After cycling all the way from Newcastle, the Nelson Mandela Legacy Ride4Hope initiative came to Standerton on September 5.

Over 100 cyclists joined the 500km cycling challenge.

The cyclists started their journey in Howick on day one. By day two, the cyclists left Ladysmith for Newcastle. On day three, the cyclists came all the way to Standerton from Newcastle, where they slept over in preparation for day four.

On day four, they completed their journey to Soweto.
