35 brave rain for parkrun in Standerton

The Standerton Riverpark parkrun takes place every Saturday at around 08:00.

The Standerton Riverpark parkrun celebrated its 314th event on September 6, attracting 35 runners on a rainy morning.

Parth Jayram was the first finisher, completing the run in 24:55. Eugene Viljoen was the second to finish the muddy track, with a time of 25:18. Ayanda Dlamini was the third finisher in 30:47.

Nitin Daya (31:33), Ellie Canning (31:55), Andrew Ainsworth (32:26), Thikolelwi Collins Madau (33:08), Patricia Madau (33:09), Sibusiso Dlangalala (41:08) and Vusamahlubi Hadebe (41:09) all followed.
