Sasol Secunda Bowls Club hosted its women’s singles tournament from August 30 to 31. Fifteen women competed in the tournament.
Retha Grobbelaar, Gwyneth Walters-Gerout, Rina Joubert, and Petro Prinsloo advanced to the semi-finals and finals, held on August 31.
Grobbelaar emerged as the overall winner, claiming the women’s singles trophy after defeating Walters-Gerout with a score of 21-17.
In the third and fourth-place playoff, Joubert secured the third spot against Prinsloo, winning 21–12.
