Man stabbed and strangled: Leandra police seek information

Police in Leandra are investigating a case of murder after a 40-year-old man was found stabbed and strangled to death in the backseat of his vehicle on October 28.

Lieutenant Colonel Jabu Ndubane, spokesperson for the police in Mpumalanga, the victim’s girlfriend found his body and immediately rushed to the police station to report the incident.

“Police responded swiftly and, upon arrival at the scene, discovered the lifeless body of a man whose hands and feet were bound.

“He was certified dead by Emergency Medical Services. A case of murder and hijacking has since been opened, and investigations are continuing,” said Ndubane.
