Golfers tee off at Graceland’s men’s open champs in Secunda

André van Heerden is the new champ with a score of 148 gross.

André van Heerden won the men’s open golf tournament at Graceland Hotel, Casino and Country Club on October 26.

He scored a 148 gross. The format was a medal three-ball played on 36 holes.

In second place was Mario Zietsman with 149, followed by Daniel Nyathela in third with 153 and Bongani Mtsweni in fourth with 154 gross.

Jabu Masilela scored a nett of 138 with Bafana Mbaba on 139 nett.

The gross winner on the first 18 holes was Isaac Mahlangu on 75 points, with Lethabo Maahlo as the gross winner on the second 18 holes, on 79 points.

Jerry Sisa was the nett winner on the first 18 holes, on 68 points, with Neil De Lange as the nett winner on the second 18 holes on 70 points.
