The back-to-school essentials included school shoes and shirts, stationery packs and sanitary pads.
Indawo Yosizo Foundation donated back-to-school essentials to foster children staying with extended family members or siblings.
They were identified through the social development database in Bethal and eMzinoni on January 14.
Donation included 25 pairs of school shoes, school shirts, 12 stationery packs, and sanitary pads.
This initiative was aimed at helping ease the financial burden on families and ensuring every child is equipped for the academic year.
“We are proud to support foster children and help them start the new school year with confidence,” said Zanele Gwebu, founder of the Indawo Yosizo Foundation.
She thanked Bethal Mall, Enpower Machite JV, Pep Stores, and Ackermans for the support and donations made towards this campaign.
