Stolen vehicle pulled over at filling station in Standerton’s CBD
KSS, APN Security and Standerton Police were involved in the operation.
Kasselman Security Services (KSS) received information on January 18 about a stolen vehicle identified on the R23/Johannesburg Road.
A sniper camera of APN Security spotted the car.
According to KSS, armed response officers pulled over the vehicle at Allegro Filling Station in Standerton CBD. They were driving towards Standerton. The officers called for backup.
Two suspects jumped out of the vehicle and fled in the direction of the Highway Bottle Store.
The armed response officers gave chase and arrested them.
Police responded swiftly and assisted with the stolen vehicle when the armed response members arrived with the suspects.
The suspects, along with the stolen vehicle were booked in at the Standerton Police Station.
The vehicle was reported stolen on August 29, 2022, in Elsburg with case number 234/08/2022.
The vehicle is a Volvo station wagon with registration number ND 625 546.
