Driver does not pay for fuel at filling station in Standerton

The vehicle’s photos were circulated to surrounding stakeholders, with the vehicle being identified in Johannesburg.

Kasselman Security Services (KSS) said a theft took place at the Caltex filling station in Nelson Mandela Drive on January 23.

According to KSS, the filling station reported that a silver Land Rover Discovery, without number plates, refuelled and the driver sped off without paying.

The vehicle’s photos were circulated to surrounding stakeholders, with the vehicle being identified in Johannesburg.

The driver was arrested and taken to Standerton SAPS where he was charged.

SAPS, KSS and Delport Securitas in Balfour assisted with the information that led to the arrest.
