Learner stabbed at school in eMbalenhle, dies at clinic

The eMbalenhle Police Commander, Colonel Khuselwa Matrose, confirmed the incident.

A learner from Thomas Nhlabathi Secondary School died today after he was allegedly stabbed with a knife by another learner on the school premises.

 

The wounded learner died at the Extention 4 clinic this afternoon.

 

Police were summoned to the scene where they arrested the suspected learner.

 

The eMbalenhle Police Commander, Colonel Khuselwa Matrose, confirmed the incident.

 

She said the learner who is a suspect was arrested and charged with murder. The investigation is ongoing.
