Children discover body of new born baby in river in eMbalenhle

Ward 10 councillor, Lucky Ngwenya, said this is the fifth baby dumped here.

The body of a new born baby was found in a river near the Maphala Gulube Primary School in eMbalenhle today, July 23.

According to community members, the decomposed body was found by children who were chasing the birds along the river bank. The children removed the tiny body from the water and then ran to tell their parents.

Ward 10 councillor, Lucky Ngwenya, said this is the fifth baby dumped in this body of water.

Police are currently on scene waiting for the pathologist to remove the body.
