Panel selects Thick Queen models for summer show

The judging panel consisted of Nicolas Mashiane (founder and organiser), Zaza Ntetha (Kaetz Stores), Sarafina Nkosi (Odeya Creations) and Kesegie Moodley (Revamped by Kes).

Thick Queens Production hosted auditions on Saturday August 6 at the eMbalenhle Sasol Club.

The judging panel consisted of Nicolas Mashiane (founder and organiser), Zaza Ntetha (Kaetz Stores), Sarafina Nkosi (Odeya Creations) and Kesegie Moodley (Revamped by Kes).

The judges had their work cut out with the turnout of talented women who came to claim their spot as a 2022 summer Thick Queen.

After a long day of debating, 18 models were chosen to be part of the up and coming summer fashion show.

Mashiane thanked the judges who participated in the model selection, as well as the women who auditioned.

“Now that the models have been selected and measurements are done, the major preparations will begin,” he said.

The panel of judges at the Thick Queens auditions comprised Kesegie Moodley (Revamped by Kes), Zaza Ntetha (Kaetz Stores), Nicolas Mashiane (founder and organiser) and Sarafina Nkosi (Odeya Creations).
