Two young people from Bethal die in head-on collision
The accident happened at about 02:30 on the R38 between Bethal and Hendrina.
Gerrie Erasmus and Olga Erasmus (not related but dating), believed to be in their early 20s, succumbed to their injuries when the vehicle they were travelling in, collided head-on with a coal truck this morning, September 4, at around 02:30.
The accident happened about 6km from Bethal heading towards Hendrina on the R38.
Emergency services and All City Towing responded to the scene.
