Woman dies in accident on road between Secunda and eMbalenhle
The man who was with her in the car, was uninjured.
A woman was killed when the vehicle in which she was travelling, rolled off the eMbalenhle Road outside Secunda yesterday, Sunday, September 4.
According to the communication officer of ER 24 ambulance services, Russel Meiring, their paramedics arrived on the scene at 12:06 to find a light motor vehicle upright on the side of the road.
The woman’s body was lying a few metres away from the car wreck while a man was walking around the scene.
Medics assessed the woman and found that she had already succumbed to her numerous injuries.
“Nothing could be done for her, and she was declared dead.
“The man, fortunately, escaped injury,” said Meiring.
The exact details surrounding this incident are unknown, but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
